We went to a Super Bowl party at a friend’s house last night. We had some fun and I’m glad we went out. John and I never seem to get any away time – from the kids or from work. And you know that you just have to have some adult time SOMETIMES.
Before we left, my youngest wanted to take a picture with me.
I was just glad I found an older pair of jeans in my closet that I
haven’t worn in a few years – which now fit. I ended up wearing
those instead of the new ones I bought Saturday.
Here I am with John and his buddy in the background.
John has a group of friends he’s known since
boy scout days and they’re always lots of fun.
We actually had fillet mignon for dinner at the party and
lots of other snacks. I won’t tell you the strange brew I was
drinking because I can’t remember what it was called. I just know
it was a mixture of two beers, one 6% something alcohol.
I think it was called “lionelkoogy” or something. I know I
have that totally spelled wrong! LOL
We had a great time and now it’s back to the grind. Exercise today – P90X – and I’ll give you my progress report on that tomorrow. Tomorrow is my birthday – I turn 32 – and I’m taking the day off of work. I figure the clients can wait so I’m not going to stress.

Sounds like a fun time for all!!! You are so photogenic!!! Can’t wait to hear about the P90X!!! I hope you like it. For me, that would mean “kick my butt”!
I am not a football or superbowl person so I did not have to worry about a party with tempting snacks!!! My hubby watched it & saved the commercials for me.
You daughter is so cute AND you are just a baby compared to my age! I have 2 stepdaughter older than you & the youngest is 31! :-)

Looks like yall had a blast which is a good thing…… Everyone needs some time away from everything…..
Hubs & I watched SB together last night until I crashed and went to bed…. didn’t see the ending but that cool…
I hit the elliptical this morning for 30 mins and will hit it again this afternoon.. going to try to get in an hour everyday this week on the devil. :)

Wow, the elliptical is tough and I would agree with you, it’s the devil! LOL I’ve been reading some people bring magazines or books and are able to read while they’re on them and it makes the time go fast. I wonder how they do that without dropping them? I’m proud of you for sticking to your goals! :)
